The Senior Project Manager will work as part of the Operations team, managing a number of projects and a team of Project Managers. The focus will be on project deployments across the four technical pillars. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in multiple technologies and extensive experience in leading and motivating a team, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality project delivery while minimizing risk and solving problems throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Follow a standard process, as defined by professional project management organizations such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMI.
  • Support, encourage, and drive improvements in every aspect of the role by taking a proactive and supportive approach.
  • Initiate projects, check feasibility, manage budgets, teams, and resources to ensure quality delivery on time and within budget.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Lead and motivate a project team from both internal and external stakeholder organizations.
  • Carry out planning in accordance with project scope and customer needs.
  • Define roles, set goals and objectives, and produce schedules and timelines for tasks.
  • Lead the planning of implementation and rollouts of solutions.
  • Manage the project, coordinating the project team to keep them on track and on budget.
  • Track actions, decisions, risks, and assumptions on all projects.
  • Carry out monitoring and control activities to track the progress of the project.
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure quality, on-time, and in-scope delivery.
  • Implement any necessary changes throughout the process following the change management process.
  • Produce project plans and status reports at required intervals for stakeholders.
  • Manage project closure, including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for future projects.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.

  • Meeting facilitation with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial budgeting and control.

  • Project management tools, software, and practices.
  • Monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience managing Business & Network Transformation and Cloud adoption projects (familiarity with platforms like Azure, M365, Fortinet is advantageous).
