Our client is seeking for a Senior Technical Architect to work on a greenfield Cloud datacentre application hosting migration project. This role will require a Technical Architect who is a VMWare specialist with AVS to supporting migration planning, design, and implementation. You will focus on a range of tasks, including actual configuration and implementation, testing, documentation, knowledge transfer on a day to day basis. Any experience of supporting on procurement requirement specification is extremely advantageous but is not essential. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the Enterprise Architect and Head of Strategy and design to gather their IT requirements and deliver solutions that align to the strategic goal.


Essential


  • VMWare with AVS
  • Extensive Technical Architecture or Design Authority experience
  • Proven track record of successful design, development and delivery of complex projects and architectures
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud migration strategies
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse problems, make quick decisions to restore service and Develop tactical and strategic recommendations that may involve redesign to provide long-term solutions
  • Extensive experience of interpreting business requirements into fully costed technical business proposals
  • knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks
  • Ability to analyse problems, make quick decisions to restore service and Develop tactical and strategic recommendations that may involve redesign to provide long-term solutions
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent
