JAB Recruitment are currently assisting our Oil and Gas Operator client in sourcing a Senior Endur Developer to be based at their office in Paddington, London. This is a 12-month, PAYE contract.


Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Endur Developer to join our development team. This role involves building, customizing, and optimizing the OpenLink Endur trading and risk management platform to meet evolving business needs.


Key Responsibilities, Tasks, and Activities

  • Design, code, and implement solutions within the Endur environment.
  • Develop and adjust Endur scripts, workflows, and reports to streamline business processes.
  • Perform software debugging and provide post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Trading teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trading and risk management systems.
  • Contribute to system upgrades, patches, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Enhance system efficiency and performance through innovative solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest Endur features and industry best practices.


Critical Skills and Behaviours


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.


Critical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Endur systems, including position management, deal capture, settlement, accounting, or risk analysis modules.
  • Proficiency in Endur scripting languages (AVS, JVS).
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Endur integration technology (Connex).
  • Familiarity with additional programming and scripting languages (Python, C#, Powershell, etc.).
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD principles.
  • Understanding of energy trading markets and products.
