Assistant Lingerie Designer/Product Developer

Are you a recent Contour Fashion Graduate looking to enter the industry. We have an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading fashion lingerie supplier working with major brands and retailers working on lingerie, swimwear, nightwear, and active wear.
We are expanding our team and looking for a recent graduate to support across multiple accounts with design, sourcing and product development. With our in-house sample room, you’ll get to see your designs come to life first hand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lingerie design, CAD, range building, trend research
- Create detailed BOMs with annotated CADs & tech drawings for sample making & costing.
- Fabric sourcing, embroidery & lace design & development with suppliers.
- Colour standards, lab dip & colour management.
- Fabric dying in house & organising sample bags to send to external dye houses.
- Support with sampling making through the sample room to ensure accurate execution of design.
- Assist with garment labels and packaging.
- Arranging press & photo samples.
- Always adhering to development critical path dates & deadlines.
- Booking couriers, post & daily administrative support tasks.
The Company
Aura Lingerie, based in West London, designs and supplies retailers with lingerie, swimwear, nightwear, and activewear. Our customers range from luxury brands to well-known high street and multi-channel retailers. We aim to closely align with their brand aesthetics, target margins, testing requirements, and delivery deadlines. Whether working from a blank canvas or with a pre-existing design, we collaborate to develop ideas into commercial realities.
The Candidate
- BA (Hons) Contour Fashion / Fashion Contour degree.
- Proficient in Adobe CS, Photoshop & Illustrator.
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Keen to participate in any task with a can-do approach.
- Uses initiative to prioritise tasks and manage own workload.
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
- Ability to process a wide range of detailed information in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player
