Senior Technician - Binding Authorities

A prestige, well-established and international Lloyd's Broker, with strong reputation within the London Market, now have an exciting position within their successful Delegated Authorities Division. The post-holder will be responsible for assisting Brokers with technical responsibilities to assist with the smooth running of Worldwide Non-Marine Risks placed into Binders.


Role Duties


  • Working collaboratively with cover holders and providing an exceptional level of service
  • Creating and processing Binding Authority Slips and Endorsements
  • Working closely with management and assisting with training team members
  • Ensuring systems, compliance and procedures are followed accordingly
  • Processing of bordereaux and Third Party Submissions to the bureau
  • Profit Commission Calculations
  • Handling and resolving clients inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Running of daily and monthly team reports
  • Maintaining statistical information as required
  • Maintaining electronic filing system is up to date at all times


About You

  • 4 years + of experience within a technical role for a Lloyd's Broker
  • Experience in Binders / Delegated Authorities
  • Experienced in creating and processing documentation across all placement activities
  • Experienced in mentoring or leading colleagues/junior staff
