Responsibilities
- Organising and conducting assessments of applicant installer companies against documented procedures and completing the required documentation
- Organising and conducting site inspections of installed constructions against documented procedures and completing the required documentation
- Organising and conducting competency assessments of supervisors and operatives employed by FIRAS certified companies
- Conducting / reporting site inspections against requirements of individual contracts
- Organising and conducting paint sampling and inspection against documented procedures and conducting laboratory evaluation of sampled paints and reporting of same
- Ensuring all clients and enquirers receive sound technical advice
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience at a technical level in passive fire protection either with a contractor, product manufacturer or testing and approval body
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience within relevant industry sectors (ie engineering, chemical, joinery)
- Knowledge of electronics is advantageous
- Good general education, including English and Maths
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- On-site inspection experience
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Be able to prioritise, organise and coordinate your workload
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Clean driving license and full UK passport
