Director Supply Chain Planning

Drayton are delighted to be working on a unique senior supply chain role for an ambitious and well invested FMCG manufacturing business. This is an opportunity to be a part of a transformational agenda in a values led business seeking to be a top-tier organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, manage and lead the activities of the Supply Chain team to achieve goals whilst balancing service, cost, and inventory objectives.
- Plan and manage the various opportunities and restrictions around inventory, manufacturing capacity, material requirements, copacker requirements, and distribution capacity.
- Develop, implement and deliver the strategic plans for the planning function across a multi-site operational footprint.
- Develop new process and procedures that will deliver improved performance and long term objectives. This will include the introduction of new systems and experience of previous systems implementations would be highly desirable.
- Act as the figurehead for supply chain planning and represent the team in key business forums and act as the key contact during any critical supply issues.
The Ideal Candidate:
- The successful candidate will possess a strong background in FMCG supply chain planning, having worked with high-performing businesses.
- They will have experience in driving systems and people change within a well-established environment and will be comfortable work with a diverse array of stakeholders while upholding a strong set of behaviours and values.
- They will be tenacious and focused, while also having the ability to envision long-term goals.
- They will have great commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to wider business initiatives.
