About the opportunity:We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, Blue Star Business Solutions, an established and reputable financial services provider specialising in asset finance and commercial loans for UK businesses. We're seeking an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join a friendly, supportive sales team in Basingstoke. This role focuses on building relationships, qualifying inbound enquiries, and passing opportunities to the Key Accounts team. You'll receive a warm list of leads and full training, making it an ideal role for someone starting their sales career in financial servicesRequirementsResponsibilities: Make outbound calls to businesses who have expressed interest in finance solutionsQualify leads and gather essential information for account managers to progressMake high-volume outbound cold calls to businesses to generate new sales opportunitiesBuild rapport and provide excellent customer service at every stage of the processMaintain accurate CRM records and update customer interactionsWork collaboratively with the wider sales team to support commercial successDevelop product knowledge across asset finance and commercial lendingAttend networking events and exhibitions as required to support business growthWork proactively to meet and exceed agreed KPIs The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:Some previous B2B or phone-based customer interaction experience (preferred)Confidence engaging with business customers by phone and emailA positive, enthusiastic approach with strong motivation to succeedExcellent communication skills - both verbal and writtenGood organisation and the ability to manage workload efficientlyIT proficiency including the use of Microsoft Office and CRM systemsA collaborative, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learnBenefitsIn return we are offering:35 hour working week - Monday to Friday£22,500 base + uncapped bonuses - realistic first year take home £27,500.
