Overview:

As a Legal Counsel, you'll play a crucial role in handling commercial contracts for various projects. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic advice to project owners.


Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts tailored to project needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with key project contracts.
  • Providing timely legal and strategic guidance to project owners.
  • Meeting project deadlines and offering commercially viable solutions to complex issues.
  • Identifying risks and assisting in decision-making processes.
  • Utilizing external legal advice effectively.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of essential documentation and policies.


Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Flexibility, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, especially PPAs.
  • Knowledge of UK laws and regulations in the energy sector.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to learning and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and alignment with core values.
