Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Functional Safety engineer, you will join Milton Keynesteam to support our activities within the automotivesector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO26262 and other relevant automotive safety standards.
  • Establish hardware, software, production, and validation requirement.
  • Lead or assist in technical reviews focused on resolving issues with battery systems.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, electrical, and electronics engineering teams.
  • Oversee the testing and validation of systems to ensure functional safety and reliability.

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in the automotive sector, with a focus on functional safety.
  • Strong understanding of BMS/battery functional standards, team management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Have a strong understanding of BMS/battery.
  • Strong understanding of high and low voltage system.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
