Junior Technical Writer

Search 5.0 is thrilled to be partnering with a long-term client who is offering an exceptional opportunity for a skilled technical writer to join their team. In this role, you'll be crafting top-end product documentation, API guides, Help Centre content, and release notes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy for end users.
  • Create detailed API guides to assist developers in integrating with our products.
  • Write and update Help Centre content to support users in troubleshooting and utilizing product features.
  • Prepare clear and concise release notes to inform customers and internal teams about new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand product requirements and functionalities.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge of technical writing principles and approaches.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical information and present it clearly and succinctly.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Good reviewing and editing skills.
  • Good eye for detail and dedication to doing the right thing the right way.
  • Strong ability to apply out-of-the-box thinking to projects to improve the efficiency and quality of subsequent deliverables.
