Carbon60 are currently recruiting for a global water technology provider to recruit Field Service Fitters to cover the South West region.

The Field Service Fitter will be involved in the mechanical maintenance, installation and commissioning of company assets on sites. These assets consist of engines, pumps and motors.

The patch you will cover stretches from St. Ives to Andover so anyone in the Taunton and Yeovil area would be ideal.

The ideal candidate will hold strong mechanical knowledge with solid hands on experience. They will be able to work on their own initiative whilst also being able to work in a team. Someone with a broad skill set and holds a problem solving mindset is desirable.

Other duties and responsibilities include carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, fault location and diagnoses as well as demonstrate a good understanding with Health and Safety procedures.

You will need to liaise with a variety of people when attending sites so good communication skills are important in this role.

This position is temp to perm and comes with benefits such as a company vehicle, fuel card and tools are provided.
