Role Summary:

The Delivery Technical Lead holds a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication between clients and the implementation team, focusing on translating customer business and technical requirements into viable solutions using DXC Global Specialty software products. This role involves collaboration within the Global Specialty implementation team to collect client needs and incorporate solution features into the Assure C&S system.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with client SME’s to understand strategic business objectives for current and future solution elements
  • Engage with client SME’s in workshops or other methods of interaction to elicit business requirements and technical requirements to inform proposed solution objectives
  • Produce As-Is and To-Be Target operating models for existing and potential client solutions
  • Produce As-Is and to-be Data Flow diagrams for existing and potential client solutions
  • Strategic oversight spanning one or more DXC solution components for a client delivery
  • Ability to guide and support the project team and customer SME’s on limitations/opportunities based on knowledge of DXC Global Specialty Software Products
  • Adhere to and contribute to the enhancement of best practice design and roadmap inclusion for DXC Global Specialty software products
  • Confidently demonstrate DXC Global Specialty product solutions in new client engagements
  • Lead and participate in internal quality reviews of solution delivery processes
  • Lead and drive client solution delivery quality activities



Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Insurance domain expertise – Both Lloyds and Company Market
  • Insurance Broking, Carrier and MGA Policy Administration systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of new technology elements such as data analytics, Automation and AI
  • Knowledge of pending Blue Print 2 market changes
  • Strong client/stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of on-premise and cloud-based solutions
  • Knowledge of typical domain-related integrations such as Bureau messaging, Sanctions Checking, Wall Street Feed and Rating Engines via various transmission methods such as API and Flat File
  • Have demonstrated a working knowledge of the following concepts/skills:
  • Agile / Scrum / Waterfall
  • Process Mapping (current and future state)
  • Data flow diagrams (current and future state)
  • Entity relationship mapping
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in working to strict deadlines, both individually and as part of a team.
  • A high level of attention to detail with strong documentation skills



Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience/knowledge of DXC Global Specialty Software products
  • System demonstration experience
  • Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON
  • Prepared to travel when required
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required - connecting and collaborating with colleagues in different time zones
