A leading, global architecture practice with a great reputation is looking for a Senior Designer to lead in the design of experiential, branded and immersive spaces across many high-profile projects.
This role can be done either as a fixed-term contract (up to 12 months) or as a freelancer.
As a Senior Designer with expertise in branded design and activation, you will be instrumental in defining and refining their design applications across a range of touchpoints.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and implementation of the brand strategy
- Effectively communicate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address design needs and ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities
- Create and refine visual elements of branded areas, constructing compelling branded storytelling
- Develop and maintain project guidelines to ensure consistent application across all outputs
- Be a mentor to junior designers and provide guidance
- Oversee the quality of work produced by the design team
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure a unified approach to brand and design projects
Key skills required:
- Experience working as a senior designer on experiential projects with a deep understanding of brand activation
- Experience working on large-scale projects in architecture and spatial design
- A solid understanding of user behaviour in complex environments
- Exceptional graphic design skills with a focus on information and user-centric design
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to present concepts and strategies to stakeholders
- Degree in graphic design, information design, or a related equivalent field
