Our Tier 1 banking requires a security consultant to deliver the cyber security certification of a new core banking platform. This role entails working with multiple teams across the organisation and ensuring the platform meets the client’s relevant security standards. This contractor will likely come form a technical DevSecOps back ground as there is a large element of technical understating with Kubernetes and GCP.


  • This candidate will be responsible for building an engagement plan and ensure that the platform passes the various cyber security control functions.
  • They will manage the third-party penetration testing and ensure that all security activities are managed for the modern core platform.
  • They will ensure that all required security control documentation is produced and validated before submission to the relevant approval boards.
  • The consultant will track any deviations from the client’s norms and ensure they have been tracked, agreed with Cyber Security and the risk accepted by the relevant systems owner.
