Millbank is searching for a Public Affairs Consultant (Freelance) to join our team.

As a Public Affairs Consultant at Millbank, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts and support our clients in navigating the ever-evolving policy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide timely political information and intelligence to a diverse portfolio of clients through live coverage, alerts, and reports;
  • Attend and cover live events, parliamentary proceedings, speeches, and press conferences;
  • Collaborate with senior team members to maintain consistent service levels;
  • Conduct research to support our clients' strategic objectives;
  • Contribute to comprehensive briefings and event coverage for key political milestones throughout the year; and
  • Assist in keeping our databases up-to-date with the latest movements across government and parliamentary bodies.


Your Profile:


  • A strong understanding and interest in UK politics and the political process;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate insights under tight deadlines;
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Excellent time management abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously; and
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and growth.
