We are seeking a dedicated Tutor/Teacher to join our team and provide educational support to an Autistic 10-year-old boy in Chard, Somerset. The Tutor must be a qualified teacher and have experience with SEN. This is a long-term role of 25 hours per week, with a good rate of pay.
Candidate must be willing to travel to Chard, Somerset daily.
*Duties*
- Educate and assist student in various subjects
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions
- Create engaging and interactive learning activities
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Specialise in tutoring for special education needs.
*Experience*
- Must be a qualified teacher.
- Ability to effectively communicate with autistic student
- Knowledge of special education practices is a must
