Senior Civil Risk Engineer

We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Civil Risk Engineer based in London. The role will involve managing accounts for multi-national organisations primarily in construction sector.The Role:Investigating, analysing, and project managing the risk engineering program for construction project insurance risks.Some of the key responsibilities will include:Review of technical documentationReview the project schedule and cost documentationContract and Policy interpretationPrepare risk summary and probable maximum loss assessmentsDevelop risk engineering programmes for insured clients taking into consideration the needs of all stakeholdersCreate and manage tender process for third partiesArrange individual risk engineering surveys and coordinate and manage the execution of surveys on a global basisManage survey recommendations to mutual agreeable conclusionReview progress reports and summarise for insurersProvide technical support to clientsMaintain all risk management team tracking systemsManage risk engineering budgetMaintain technical competencyDeliver technical presentations - case specific and external knowledge sharingContribute towards a technical article within 'integrated', Integra's bi-annual magazineThe Requirements:Knowledge, skills & experience required:Extensive experience working as an engineer within chosen industry sector - with particular focus on heavy civils, bridges, tunnels and infrastructureDegree (or equivalent) Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Additional qualifications in risk management or relevant accreditations would be considered favourablySelf-starter, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively relate to individuals at all levels – from site technicians up to company CEOsProven ability to write detailed reports of a varied technical natureMember of engineering associations is preferableExperience of working with international engineering standards and codesWorking knowledge of fire protection and detection systemsMinimum of two years experience with either an insurance company, broker or independent engineering firs working with the insurance sector
