They are looking for a Revit Design Engineer with strong technical and customer-facing skills to join their team in Hampshire on a permanent basis.The Revit Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:1-5 years’ or more of experience in a similar Design / CAD Operation positionStrong experience with 2D and 3D CAD – ideally Revit Strong understanding of construction materials, fabrication, and installation processesElectrical Engineering knowledge would be beneficial tooDegree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Design, Engineering or similarExperience with Estimating would be beneficial tooExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenProficient using MS OfficeExcellent organisational skills and time management skillsHave the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary teamThe Revit Design Engineer role will involve:Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawingsProducing fabrication drawings to bespoke requirementsReading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and CAD models to produce accurate quotationsPreparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and subcontractor elementsCommunicating directly with clients to determine requirements Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plansUpdating 3D models and drawingsChecking drawings for sign offWorking in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projectsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
