Coltech has partnered with a Global non-profit organisation with offices in over 70 countries. They want to expand the Global IT Team by onboarding an experienced Solutions Architect.


About the Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and overseeing data and digital solutions to ensure the development of a cohesive and well-managed organisational architecture. You will lead the development of technology strategies, contribute to implementing modern architecture solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.


You’ll thrive in this role if you are adaptable, enjoy solving complex problems, and can work across various projects. As a technical lead, you will ensure that all solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with the organisation's long-term operational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop global technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • Design innovative, scalable Solution Architectures and Technical Designs.
  • Support the full project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, and go-live.
  • Lead architecture analysis, design, and implementation, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.
  • Provide technical governance to ensure solution quality and compliance.
  • Evaluate new technology requests and provide recommendations based on the existing technical landscape.
  • Develop an integrated architecture roadmap, addressing risks and technical dependencies.


Required Skills & Expertise

  • Proven experience in Solution Architecture, working with legacy and modern digital solutions, cloud platforms, and integration patterns (e.g., Microservices, APIs).
  • Knowledge of platform, infrastructure, and data architecture, including cyber security and networking.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with technical and business teams.
  • Experience leading teams of architects or technologists within complex digital and data programs.
  • Familiarity with architecture principles, patterns, and solution designs.
  • Experience in delivering projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Excel, Jira, DevOps, and PowerPoint.


Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge or certification in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Industry certifications such as BCS, SCRUM, SAFe, PMP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud products, SAP S/4 HANA, Salesforce, Azure AD, Okta, and related platforms.
