Our client, a specialist consultancy supporting, Government, Defence and National Security initiatives in next generation programmes is seeking to find a Systems Engineering Design Authority.

With knowledge across the SATCOMS domains, we seek to find people with experience spanning systems design & architecture as well as integrations; this is in order to support the delivery of major UK Space programs that hold massive significance to UK public sector.


What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of satellite communications systems
  • Design experience of SATCOMS Systems; understanding of protocols, standards, integration and testing.
  • Experience developing complex integration strategies, whilst also ensuring governance is in place for adoption.
  • Experience managing the technical architecture process for large complex systems.
  • Knowledge of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle (i.e. INCOSE, ISO/IEC 15288)
  • Experience of managing assurance activities for the verification and validation of complex systems.
  • History managing architecture baselines including the control of system interfaces and interdependences.
  • High level communication skills and strong stakeholder management ability.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with a proven mathematical background.
  • Proven experience within Systems Engineering positions.
  • Experience of working in Defence, Space, Civil Service or military domains is advantageous.
  • Already have or have no impediment to obtaining UK SC Clearance and willingness to obtain DV Level security clearance.
