As we continue to expand our footprint across wholesale, grocery, discounters, and convenience channels, we are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead our commercial strategy and drive the success of our brands.
As the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be at the forefront of our commercial operations, managing four distinctive brands across multiple channels, including wholesale, grocery, discounters, and convenience. You will be responsible for overseeing the P&L, developing and executing commercial strategies, and ensuring that our brands continue to grow and outperform in a competitive market.
- P&L Management: Take full ownership of the P&L for each brand, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with the overall business goals and drive growth across all channels.
- Channel Management: Oversee the performance of our brands in wholesale, grocery, discounters, and convenience channels, ensuring strong relationships with key retailers and distributors.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring our brands are well-represented and achieving maximum distribution.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and planning.
- Negotiations: Lead negotiations with key customers and partners, securing favorable terms and maximizing profitability.
- Brand Growth: Drive brand growth through effective promotional planning, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
To be successful in your application you will have previous exerience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager within the FMCG sector, with a focus on branded products. Have strong P&L management experience with a track record of delivering financial targets. A Deep understanding of the UK retail landscape, including wholesale, grocery, discounters, and convenience channels. Strong negotiation skills and experience managing key customer relationships.
