Our customer, a global energy company is looking for a Commercial lawyer with Oil and Gas industry experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering legal assistance on a variety of strategic matters related to oil and gas related projects.
  • Engaging in negotiations, drafting, and/or offering guidance on contracts throughout the entire project life cycle. This includes involvement in purchase agreements, construction-related contracts, operations and maintenance agreements, development services agreements, potential shareholder and joint venture arrangements, and procurement and services agreements.
  • Collaborating with other legal team members to conduct legal due diligence on potential projects.
  • Advising the firm on legislation and regulations.
  • Demonstrating the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple matters.


This could be a fantastic opportunity if you have:

  • 10+ years post-qualification experience as a legal practitioner in relevant area of law.
  • Ability to work independently and leverage internal and external networks to supplement skills and expertise as needed.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Flexible, proactive, and adaptable with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
