About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Lawyer to join our top-ranked Immigration team, supporting both corporate and personal immigration work. You will manage key internal and external knowhow, enabling the team to deliver outstanding service to clients. This role offers the opportunity to share your expertise, contribute to business development, and play a pivotal role in maintaining our cutting-edge approach.


Key Responsibilities

This role will manage immigration knowhow resources and deliver high-level technical support. It involves providing research and advanced drafting, while staying updated on regulatory changes. Key duties include:

  • Creating and maintaining practice notes, precedents, and checklists.
  • Sharing knowledge through internal knowhow meetings and training sessions.
  • Supporting fee earners with research and advanced drafting.
  • Providing updates and briefings to clients on immigration developments.
  • Assisting in external communications, publications, and client training.
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in knowledge management processes.


About You

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 6 years’ PQE in corporate and personal immigration law.
  • Strong experience in sponsorship, global talent, work-related routes, and family-based applications.
  • Skilled in mitigating risks related to sponsorship and illegal working.
  • Proficient in drafting technical legal documents and resources.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Experience EUSS and also Tribunal/JR work is desirable.
  • Knowledge management experience is an advantage, but we welcome fee earners seeking a career change.

About the team

Our top-ranked Immigration department handles all aspects of immigration and nationality law, providing bespoke solutions across business and personal immigration matters. The team brings a wealth of experience, advising multinational corporations, businesses, charities, non-profit organizations, as well as individuals and families. This role will require close collaboration with a team of two partners, four lawyers, a trainee, and two paralegals, working together to support a diverse and exciting practice.
