Paralegal - Pro Bono Team

London - Hybrid

to £33,500

One Year Fixed Term Contract


If you are a paralegal who would like to immerse themselves into the world of Pro Bono, then this 12 month fixed term contract could be your ideal next move.


Supporting the Head of the Pro Bono Practice who is also the lead for Responsible Business, this role will have a high administration element, and also see you liaising with fee earners in the firms from trainee level to senior partner, who all have a passion for Pro Bono. The scope of their pro bono work is varied from Impact Finance to Family and Immigration issues.


Duties will include:

  • Co-ordinating and managing multiple diaries and appointments.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team.
  • Draft and proof-read legal documents and prepare written reports as requested.
  • Producing attendance notes, emails, letters, presentations and other documents as required.
  • Assisting in the preparation of bundles as requested.
  • Conducting legal research using a variety of online and reference sources. Researching, analysing and interpreting general business periodicals and professional journals, annual reports etc.
  • Building and maintaining technical knowledge of clients and their matters and their work/requirements in general.

  • Accomplished research skills.
  • Strong IT skills: thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Previous relevant experience or a genuine interest in this area of law is desirable.
