GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER


This Senior position will Oversee the financial health and operations of this diverse Group of Companies, with roughly £20m annual turnover. We are looking for a strong leader who can really understand the operation of the business with an initiative and strategic approach, adding value to SLT and board members.


In a broad role, you will ensure the delivery of accurate financial reports, manage cash flow effectively, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. By optimising financial processes and integrating systems, you will provide quality data to support decision-making and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will lead and develop the finance team, fostering collaboration and maintaining high performance to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.

Responsibilities include

  • Deliver accurate financial reports and manage cash flow effectively to provide reliable information for decision-making and ensure financial stability.
  • Simplify financial processes and improve data collection, sharing, and usage. Ensure systems are streamlined and integrated to deliver quality data with optimum efficiency for key figures.
  • Maintain internal controls, oversee audits, and manage regulatory filings to safeguard data and minimise risks.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration, ensuring high performance, and supporting continuity planning to maintain team effectiveness.
