DevOps Engineer


As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in migrating infrastructure to AWS and automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployments. This is a technical role where you will spend most of your time building, maintaining, and securing AWS-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.


You will take ownership of the cloud migration strategy, as well as design, implement, and the operation of AWS services like EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM. You will build infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and set up CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline.


To ensure high availability and scalability of their systems, you will utilise AWS tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config. You will also mentor other engineers and promote best practices around security, compliance, testing, monitoring and automation.


This is a permanent role offering up to £70,000 per year.


As part of a growing company, you will have plenty of scope to learn new skills and technologies and take on more responsibility over time.


Skills & Experience...


  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and services
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Strong Linux & scripting skills
  • Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting
  • Ability to identify and remediate security issues


  • Bonus: Containerization skills (Docker, ECS)
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud cost optimisation
