Cutover Lead - Finance Transformation
About the Role:
As the Cutover Lead, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the end-to-end cutover process for large-scale Finance Transformation projects. This includes managing multiple workstreams, engaging with stakeholders across the business, and ensuring that all systems, applications, and processes are fully transitioned with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and own the detailed cutover plan, working with project teams and technical staff to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Coordinate and lead cutover rehearsals, ensuring readiness for the final transition.
Act as the point of contact for all cutover-related activities, ensuring alignment across technical teams, business users, and external partners.
Mitigate risks and resolve issues that could impact the cutover process.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership and project sponsors on cutover status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during the transition, handling any post-go-live issues swiftly and effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience leading cutovers for large, complex projects, particularly within Finance Transformation.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Expertise in creating cutover plans and managing dependencies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience in technical environments with knowledge of ERP systems, cloud migrations, or similar large-scale transitions is a plus.
