Job title: Windows Security Engineer

Client: Fintech

Salary: Circa £220,000 + Market leading bonus

Location: London (Hybrid)

Experience level: 7+ years

My client is looking for a passionate, and talented Security engineer to join their firm in a top priority position. This candidate will be responsible for securing the firms information and computer systems, implementing best practice solutions and providing an elite level of consulting for security operations.


Role:

· Provide a high level of consultancy when it comes to engineering security solutions.

· Provide input for architecture plans with consideration of current standards.

· Design and implement platform authentication.

· Monitor new and emerging technologies that could be adopted

· Provide incident response.

· Liaison with key stakeholders

· Ensure smooth handover form engineering to production.


Requirements:

· 7 + years experience within Security Engineering and at least 2+ focusing on InfoSec

· Extensive knowledge of security engineering concepts

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

· Excellent understanding of Microsoft Security Solutions

· Ability to understand code in C# / .NET Proficiency in PowerShell

· Understanding of enterprise security

· Experience with office365 security controls

· Strong knowledge and understanding of multiple security technologies e.g. SIEM, EDR

· Good communication skills
