Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a VP of Artists Relations. The VP of Artists Relations will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with contemporary artists, managing artist contracts, negotiating deals, and overseeing artist-related financial transactions. The VP of Artists Relations will also be responsible for coordinating communication between artists and the gallery, and managing labor relations within the artist community.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Experience in contract negotiation, preferably in the art industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of finance and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in labor relations, preferably in the art industry
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the art industry is a plus
