We have an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of communities through urban design and master planning. Our client is a thriving design consultancy committed to creating vibrant, sustainable communities. In this role you will;

  • Lead urban design and masterplanning projects from conceptual design to implementation.
  • Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders, including local authorities and government bodies.
  • Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies and research to inform design decisions and project recommendations.
  • Work closely with planners, architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate urban design principles.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, Design & Access Statements.


Your skills will include;

  • Degree in Architecture, Planning, Urban design, or Landscape Architecture.
  • Min 3 years work experience in urban design/master planning
  • Knowledge of RIBA design stages and public sector planning process stages for new development.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of current urban design, architecture and placemaking, practices, especially in relation to the climate emergency.
  • Strong design skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
