Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in developing a centralized Master Data repository for Client Profiles and their marketing preferences. This project involves integrating data from multiple upstream systems, processing it through ETL, and distributing it securely to various downstream marketing platforms. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of the entire system within a cloud-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on security, using tools like Team City, Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Enhance the security of our Microsoft Azure environment, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Vault, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate infrastructure setup, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Implement and manage security controls and monitoring to protect sensitive client profile data and marketing preferences throughout the ETL processes and data flows.
- Work closely with Technical Architects, Solution Architects, and Development teams to integrate security best practices into the architecture of the centralized Master Data repository.
- Ensure the system meets all necessary compliance requirements, including data governance policies, and manage the approval processes for data distribution via bulk or API.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Team City, Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform, with a focus on security integration.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and Vault; experience with AKS and PowerShell scripting is a plus.
- Experience with the Cloudera platform, including Hue, Hive, HDFS, and Spark, with a focus on secure data management and processing.
- Proven experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments, including network security, encryption, identity and access management, and data protection.
- Proficient in using Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring automated, secure, and consistent deployments.
