We are on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies and architectural excellence.


Head Resourcing is working closely with our Edinburgh success story client to support in the recruitment of a Senior Software Developer in a multi-disciplined team, driving innovation across various projects from inception to delivery. In this role, you'll mentor rising stars, uphold high technical standards, and be at the forefront of cutting-edge developments.

This specific team is tasked with looking at the next generation of Product and cloud native enablement. You will need to be a sharp mind with strong SaaS experience and in-depth and proven detailed understanding of Azure, AWS or GCP within a Software Development discipline.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead diverse projects within an agile team.
  • Manage the full development lifecycle of new features and enhancements.
  • Participate in design, security, and hazard reviews.
  • Shape team dynamics through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of emerging engineering trends and advocate for their adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal squads and partner organizations.
  • Adhere to stringent information security protocols.

Your Expertise:

  • Degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
  • Proficient in C# and experienced with major Cloud Service Providers, (AWS, AZURE, GCP).
  • Skilled in automated testing, object-oriented design, and refactoring.
  • Agile software development, Test Driven Development, and Kubernetes proficiency.
  • Bonus: Regulatory knowledge ISO13485, medical imaging informatics, and functional programming.
