Business Studies Teacher

Role Summary:

As a Business Studies Teacher at BGI School, you'll inspire students to explore business concepts, nurture their potential, and prepare them for life beyond school. You will lead the direction of Business Studies education, bringing fresh ideas and innovative practices to engage students and staff alike. Your role will involve teaching, curriculum development, and collaborating with departments to integrate business studies effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Shape and propose the strategic direction for Business Studies within the curriculum and work with the Senior Leadership Team to embed this vision across the school.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with Subject Coordinators and Heads of Department, guiding and supporting staff to incorporate business studies in creative and impactful ways.
  • Teaching Excellence: Set a high standard in your teaching, sharing best practices and maintaining an engaging, student-focused environment.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the department’s budget, ensuring resource allocation is efficient, environmentally responsible, and value-focused.
  • Student Progress & Assessment: Regularly monitor and assess students, using data to support tailored learning and ensure each student achieves their potential.
