The Paralegal will work in the Property, Family, Litigation and Private Client Departments. The role would be full time and on site. Training will be given.

We welcome applications from both law and non-law backgrounds with a proven academic background and a keen interest in the areas of law which our firm offers. It is a requirement that any successful applicant will have passed both the GDL and LPC or both SQE1 and SQE2 before the proposed start date of the training contract (as above). We do not provide funding for the course fees. The applicant must have the right to work in the UK. 


The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Review and draft routine legal documents
  • Create and maintain case files
  • Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
  • Conduct legal research


Qualifications

  • Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal
  • Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Licenced Professional Counsel OR must have passed Solicitor's Qualifying Examination (SQE) 1 & 2
  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
