Job responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the day to day operational tasks
• You will ensure that all customers‘ freight arrives on time
• Liaising with overseas offices
• Handling bookings
• Monitoring shipments and keeping clients updated on progress/any delays
• Handling export documentation
• Liaising with shipping companies
• Liaising with clients/carriers on arranging collections
• Raising invoices to clients accurately and in a timely fashion

Required qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• 2+ years of experienced in ocean export freight operations preferred
• Familiar with FCL and LCL booking
• Groupage management experience a plus
• Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Incoterms
• Familiar with customs & export procedures
• Prepared to complete the entire job, from file creation to invoicing
