The electrical department has a full order book delivering solar PV + battery, HHRSH, mechanical ventilation, heating controls, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs and LED lighting.

The Role

We are experiencing a period of rapid growth, especially in our electrical department, and as such we are recruiting for several positions nationwide. We are currently looking for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor based at our head office in Brighouse. The Electrical Supervisor role is “off the tools”, excluding minor remediations found on site visits, and time will be split between the Brighouse office and site visits across the north of England. Responsibilities

As Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will lead a team of electricians, dealing with any queries relating to electrical installation and testing.

Ensuring your team are clear on their roles and responsibilities, you will assess resource requirements and support the management of day-to-day activities. Identifying risks and protecting the company’s reputation, you will manage team performance, undertake quality assurance and drive a culture of “right first time”.

Office based duties will include reviewing and signing off electrical certificates through the NICEIC portal, quality / compliance checks of photo evidence from site, dealing with site-based queries from installers, tenants and clients, writing job specifications/ instruction and providing support to management staff at the office as well as contributing to NICEIC/ CPS assessments.

Site based duties include technical monitoring of electrician’s work through post install audits, monitoring H&S and quality practices on site, carrying out pre install surveys of properties where necessary, attending any site-based issues / liaising with clients on F10 sites as well as supporting and developing electrical install staff.

The Person

The ability to work on their own initiative is essential, to organise and manage the quality / compliance control for the Northern region. Must have good working knowledge of 18th edition wiring regulations, extensive inspection and testing experience as well as familiar with relevant building regulations. Domestic experience is essential, solar experience is advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidates. Must be commutable to Brighouse, HD6 1PT

Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3
• 18h edition wiring regulations
• 2391 Inspection and testing
• CSCS/ ECS Card
• Full UK driving license
