Day rate: £600-£650 per day


We are working with a global PE backed company seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BI Data Engineer to lead the creation and optimisation of data warehouses for their Finance BI solutions. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, MS Azure Data lake, and MS D365 Finance to design and implement performant data warehouses, following best practices. This role involves working closely with the BI workstream lead, business analysts, and D365 consultants to gather requirements, propose solutions, document system designs, and develop the data architecture, with a focus on optimizing the Snowflake data warehouse and PowerBI semantic data models. Responsibilities include building ETL pipelines, maintaining data quality, overseeing testing and deployments, and ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in SQL and DAX, experience with full BI implementation lifecycles, and the ability to effectively communicate and manage stakeholder expectations.
