🔬 What You’ll Do:

  • Design cutting-edge NLP approaches to address challenges in treating mental health conditions.
  • Conduct experiments to validate new AI methodologies and showcase proof of concept.
  • Coordinate activities of junior researchers and interns to drive project success.
  • Present the team’s scientific work internally and externally, showcasing our impact.
  • Monitor advancements in AI to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.


🎓 What We’re Looking For:


Essential:

  • MSc in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record as an effective machine learning scientist, whether in academia or industry.
  • Strong programming and software development skills.
  • Some expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), with practical experience applying machine learning or deep learning approaches.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and their practical applications.
  • Agile thinker, capable of working with underspecified requirements and adapting to evolving challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver results effectively.
  • Highly motivated and a strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.


Desirable:

  • Specialisation in areas such as natural language processing, speech processing, dialogue systems, or linguistics.
  • Experience in designing and working with dialogue or question-answering systems.
  • Hands-on experience with speech systems or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with TensorFlow or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
