The Role:

  • Responsible for managing and standardising logistics operations across multiple sites.
  • Based at the UK national hub, you will lead the development and execution of an outbound freight strategy, ensuring it aligns with both customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Key responsibilities include optimising logistics performance, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-effective and sustainable logistics solutions.
  • Scaling logistics operations to meet increasing demand, reducing late deliveries, and improving overall customer satisfaction.
  • Leading a logistics team, you will ensure alignment with the company’s broader goals and growth plans.


The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in managing logistics teams within a fast-paced, international environment. You should have experience in developing and implementing outbound freight strategies, managing cross-border logistics, and overseeing budgets to deliver cost savings.


Key qualifications and attributes include:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
  • Experience with international logistics, particularly in relation to post-Brexit trade.
  • Financial acumen and a strategic approach to driving logistics improvements and sustainability initiatives.
