Key Responsibilities:
● Analyse data and prepare reports to guide ETL process improvement with specific focus on the reduction of technical debt as well as enhancement of automation and data hygiene.
● Support the Data Strategy Manager with the continuous development of a Data Warehouse and Framework to support current contracts and future business readiness.
● Conduct analysis to evaluate the success and the effectiveness of key programmes and initiatives.
● Support achievement of contractual requirements.
● Work collaboratively with Operational Leaders to support reporting systems and to monitor improvement initiatives.
● Support the Data Strategy Manager in client facing calls where technical detail is required.
● Interpret data, analyse results and provide ongoing reports and high level data insights to decision makers as they may impact the Data Warehouse framework.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
● Support colleagues to learn to use and interpret operational systems and reports correctly.
● Ensure complete documentation of all Data Team processes, activities and projects.
● Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Data Strategy, Data Quality, and technical excellence of the business.
● Produce reports and analysis to meet a timetable or deadlines set by your Line Manager.
● Align to business objectives and Data Strategy
● Adhere to and inform the Data Governance Policy and internal and external compliance standards and regulations
Requirements:
●Proficiency in Power BI, with a track record of creating interactive and insightful dashboards.
●Experience with ETL processes especially in the context of reduction of technical debt
●Familiarity with Looker, GCP tools (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Data Fusion, Cloud Composer) is a plus.
●Understanding of statistical methods and their applications.
●Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
●A passion for turning data into impactful stories.
