Senior IT Systems Engineer


Synchro have partnered exclusively with a dynamic and innovative retailer based in the Southwest and we are hiring for an experienced IT Systems Engineer with a broad technical skillset and a range of experience, ideally within the retail / Ecommerce / online marketplace industry.


As an experienced Systems Engineer, you will be working on multiple concurrent projects as well as providing traditional IT & end user support. You will have experience of working with financial systems and reporting, ideally with a good understanding of NetSuite. Experience with QlikView is also advantageous, however skills in Power BI, Tableau or SQL will also suffice.


This organisation is headquartered in Indian Queens, Southwest England. Hybrid remote working is on offer here, with 3 days in the office required and 2 days working remotely – however in the initial, probationary period of this role, you will be required to be in the office 4/5 days per week.


Required skills & experience


Experience in a similar Systems Analyst, Application Support, ERP Support or Systems Engineer role.

  • Strong understanding of IT systems including Financial reporting systems (ideally NetSuite). Further to this, QlikView, Power BI, Tableau or SQL experience is also required.
  • A strong aptitude for learning new systems and technologies quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues, customer, suppliers and stakeholders at differing levels.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + excellent benefits – This salary may be negotiable for the right candidate.
