Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Principal Engineer to join our team at an exciting stage of growth. This role is a key position for their backend team growth, from developing and enhancing to optimizing backend performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous growth.
  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable software systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Advocate for optimal coding practices and sound design principles.
  • Approach complex technical challenges with creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish requirements and specifications.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective technical solutions.
  • Drive research and development efforts to enhance systems and explore new technology integrations.


Skills:

We work with a range of technologies, and experience in some of the following areas will set you up for success:

  • PHP or Golang
  • AWS
  • Kubernetes
  • Leadership experience (Mentoring/ Leading projects)
  • Great communications skills - English
