Clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.Excellent opportunity for an IT Administrator to join a global manufacturing organisation providing 1st and 2nd line support on an initial 6-month contract - £150 per day (INSIDE IR35).Are you a dynamic, hands-on IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in your day-to-day work?In this role, you will be a key part of their UK IT Service Desk, supporting over circa users locally and assisting with remote support for an additional users in Asia. You will provide 1st line help desk support, manage hardware and software rollouts, troubleshoot application and hardware issues, and contribute to infrastructure and modernisation projects.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1st and 2nd line support across desktop, laptop, server, and printer systemsAdminister Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 environmentsPerform patching and support for various business applicationsManage IT peripherals and printer systems across multiple UK sitesRegister and manage change requests and trouble ticketsParticipate in IT projects focused on system modernisationWhat You will Bring:Degree in an IT-related disciplineMinimum of 2 years year’s in a similar roleStrong technical knowledge and analytical skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft applications and general IT infrastructureTrack record of troubleshooting issuesExcellent communication and customer facing skillsAbility to think outside the box, prioritise effectively, and take ownership of issuesBonus experience:Previous experience working in a manufacturing organisationAdditional Info:Hours: 8am – 4pm (with occasional out-of-hours work)Location: East Kilbride (with travel to another central Scotland site)This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad experience in a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
