Role Overview

As our new Project Manager, you will collaborating closely with colleagues across various departments, key client stakeholders, and external customers. Reporting to the Head of the Project Management, you will drive the successful delivery of IT, Business Systems, and Contact Centre projects.


The core of your role will be managing projects to scope, time, and budget, with a focus on IT and communications systems. Success in this role involves effectively balancing stakeholder needs, technical complexity, and business outcomes.


This is a remote role, home-based with the flexibility to attend the company office (London) on rare occasions. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, build new skills, and collaborate with a fantastic team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage IT and Telecommunications projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Oversee project tracking, including monitoring progress and implementing control activities to maintain project timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage and implement changes throughout the project lifecycle to meet evolving requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
  • Take ownership of complex projects or problem sites, managing issues to resolution and acting as the dedicated point of contact for escalations.
  • Ensure all project-related installations and integrations of systems are performed efficiently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal Account Managers and Sales Executives to resolve any technical or commercial challenges that could affect project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely handover to the Customer Service Centre (CSC) upon project completion.
  • Close projects by evaluating successes and challenges to inform future improvements.
  • Build and nurture positive, collaborative relationships with internal teams, particularly within Business Systems and IT functions.
  • Support key sales opportunities by providing input for Pre-Sales and assisting with project scoping and quoting as required.


Person Specification


  • Strong experience in managing IT or Business Systems projects, ideally in Contact Centre environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage risk and drive change within large-scale projects.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and proactive in driving projects forward.
  • Ability to work under pressure while adapting to changing priorities.
