Job Opportunity: BMS Service Engineer

Location: Central London

Department: Service

Employment Type: Full-Time


Learnd is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join our growing team in Central London. We are looking for a professional who is dedicated to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards, with a strong technical background in Trend and Tridium systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Operations: Adhere to safe working practices and ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on control systems; verify system performance.
  • Customer Support: Respond to customer service calls, diagnose system issues, and repair faults. Engage with customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
  • Energy Efficiency Advice: Provide customers with advice on energy efficiency and the environmental impact of energy consumption.
  • Sales & Opportunities: Identify and quote for additional services or upgrades during site visits, and report potential leads to the office.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Complete service reports, update site documentation, and communicate with the Account/Operations Manager regarding system changes and issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and meet project deadlines.
  • Tool & Equipment Management: Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring availability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions to update technical knowledge and improve safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.


Person Requirements:

  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in Trend and Tridium systems.
  • Safety & Communication: Strong focus on health and safety, excellent communication skills, and customer-oriented.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in the installation, maintenance, and repair of control systems.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly and travel as needed; a full UK driving license is required.
  • Legal Compliance: Must have the right to work in the UK.
