Taylor Hopkinson has been retained by a newly formed joint venture focused on offshore wind with a mandate to grow their existing portfolio by identifying opportunities in Europe.

As part of the team you will lead in powering the energy transition through development, construction, operation, and ownership of renewable energy generation and green infrastructure.


As the finance analyst, you will support several offshore wind projects during the development phase. In this role, you will provide a wide range of financial activities as per business processes.


Responsibilities

  • Support workstreams to raise debt capital or secure other financial instruments.
  • Review and negotiate commercial terms of debt financing or other financial instruments.
  • Provide advice to key decision makers regarding financing, financial risk management, currency management and interest rate management.
  • Perform economic and financial analyses in relation to financing and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain debt models to be used in economic and financial analysis of financing opportunities.
  • Support management with financing tasks such as capital raising, project financing, bankability of investments, liquidity control.
  • Assist management and shareholders in planned and ad-hoc tasks.


Requirements

  • Three years experience in a finance-related position, i.e. transaction services, banking, corporate finance or related area.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong commercial mind set and financing know-how.
  • Financial modelling experience would be advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Structured and organized.
  • Strong self-leadership with a proactive approach.
