Fuse are working with a leading Life and Pensions organisation to recruit a Senior Business Analyst into their Finance team.
The successful BA will join a Finance Modernisation programme and assist with day-to-day BA activities, with a particular focus on process improvement, automation, and power query solutions
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for enabling business change through:
- Evaluating and developing business strategies and models to improve efficiency, productivity, or profitability
- Communicating and reporting on the performance and goals of the business to management and stakeholders
- Using analytical skills and experience to review and improve business operations, processes, and systems, including the role and utilisation of data across each of these areas
- Leading or participating in testing, documentation, and implementation of business solutions
- Providing technical/industry expertise and guidance on business solutions/opportunity
Experience required
- Detailed knowledge of the Life & Wealth industry including the governing regulatory framework
- Experience of Project Delivery methodologies, including Agile Framework, Scrum, Waterfall and Lean Engineering
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
- Experience of sharing technical and non-technical details in a manner that is easily understood by stakeholder groups
- Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems
- Experience of testing and mapping business processes and protocols
- Knowledge of industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve
