The Opportunity


We are seeking a talented a Senior Java Developer. You will be responsible for the ownership of key projects, working across all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. As a Senior Developer, you will be accountable for issuing technical guidance to Junior Developers, including overseeing their deliverables and providing architectural guidance.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Java code for the platform across the trade management stack.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Expanding product offerings
  • Facilitate the clearing of new credit derivative index, single name, and option products.
  • Develop innovative platform extensions to drive growth.
  • Simplify the overall platform architecture for improved performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing codebase, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative development environment.



Must Haves

  • Enterprise experience: Secure, regulated environments, SDLC for financial services.
  • DevOps champion: CI/CD, testing frameworks (Jenkins/GitLab, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber).
  • Architecture savvy: Applies principles for quality, high-impact improvement.
  • Collaborative powerhouse: Communicates effectively, owns solutions cross-functionally.
  • Tech stack master: Java, Spring Boot, databases (relational & no-SQL), JMS (ActiveMQ/IBM MQ), Git, Maven, IntelliJ.



Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services, like EC2, S3, Lambda.
