We are recruiting on behalf of an engineering firm, known for pushing the boundaries in design and sustainability. They are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in London. In this role, you’ll contribute to transforming the built environment, collaborating with top professionals across disciplines on high-impact projects.


Role Highlights

  • Lead Civil Engineering Projects: Take the reins on complex design projects, guiding them from concept to completion and ensuring the highest standards of quality.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and environmental specialists to develop integrated solutions that set new standards in design.
  • Client Management and Project Delivery: Attend project meetings, manage client relationships, and ensure all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Advanced Technical Work: Use the latest software to produce detailed designs, drawings, and specifications aligned with British Standards, Eurocodes, and other guidance.
  • Site Inspections and Technical Expertise: Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot emerging issues, and provide expert advice to ensure projects meet structural and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentorship and Growth: Support junior engineers by sharing knowledge and contributing to technical training, supporting both your growth and that of the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in civil engineering design, including expertise in drainage, road, and utility design.
  • Proficiency with relevant design codes (British Standards, Eurocodes) and advanced design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience managing multi-faceted projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with the ability to manage time and deadlines independently.
